fuck publishing
So now I have a device to read comics and books digitally. The last part of physical media is gone in my life. mp3 took care of music, various codecs and services took care of television and film. I can get a comic for $0.99 through and app on my iPad but I gotta pay 15 bucks for a book.
From reading through a google search it seems that our publishing industry isn’t ready to truly embrace the digital revolution. Selling cheap as readers become common place will only increase sales.
They are lucky since piracy hasn’t taken off with their medium. If publishing doesn’t get their shit in gear they’re gonna get fucked in the ass they way the RIAA and MPAA did when it beca,e easy to rip a disc.
