This is Daffodil, aka Daffy, aka Silly Duck.  Daffy is a very happy girl, except when the puppy rage comes out in full force.  If you don’t know what puppy rage is, you probably don’t want crazy amounts of puppy kisses and lots of tail wagging.  It’s actually the opposite of rage now that I think about it.

She’s an Australian Cattle Dog.  Much like her name they’re also referred to as heelers with their colour or Queensland.  She’s obviously a blue, though you can’t see her body in that picture.

Daffy was born on January 11th 2009 and came to live with me on March 8th.  Since coming into my life she’s made it infinitely more enjoyable.  The amount of love this dog has and her smarts make her such a great companion.  A bundle of perpetual motion that always wants to play with other dogs or go for long walks.  She’s started to take to swimming after ducks at the many lakes in Golden Gate Park and chasing the sea gulls down at Ocean Beach.

Of course on this page will be a list of commands she knows so if someone finds her they can go to the url on her dog collar and she can act like a good dog until I can get her.
